The barn conversion was really roomy and well provisioned, exceeding my expectations. the owners were very welcoming and friendly, even leaving a bottle of wine and a cake for us upon arrival. the small back garden and dog-walking area made it easy to bring our furry friend along. the location was great, providing easy access to both the North Devon and Cornwall coasts, as well as having a convenient supermarket nearby.
The proximity to the main road meant that we could hear some passing traffic, which was a minor inconvenience. in high winds, the exposed farmhouse setting felt a bit vulnerable.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms spacious. The hosts provided a bottle of wine and cake, which was a lovely touch. The facilities were excellent, although we didn't have the chance to fully enjoy them during our short stay. The location was ideal and the property was lovely and clean. There was a secluded garden for our dog and a large field for walks. The house itself was beautiful, even better than the pictures. The fully equipped kitchen and private garden were great for enjoying the sun. The hosts thought of everything, from little details like supplying salt to providing entertainment for the kids. The house was huge and the kids had a great time in the garden and games room.
We felt so at home there were no complaints.

Had an amazing New Year's stay! Loved the cozy and beautiful house. Relaxing in the peaceful countryside was a dream. The outdoor grilling area and game room were excellent for entertainment. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel right at home. The house had great recycling facilities too!
The proximity to the main road was a bit noisy when sitting in the garden, but it didn't bother us during the night. Definitely not a deal-breaker though.
